About

I believe jewelry should be an everyday luxury intrinsic to one’s style. At the same time, it should feel transformative. Each piece in the collection is made-to-order. This allows for ultimate customization and collaboration with clients, epitomizing the values of hand-crafted luxury. It also speaks to my commitment to sustainability, because it is a no-waste model.

Jennifer Alfano jewelry is made locally by artisans in New York City, the place I’ve called home for over 35 years.

Throughout her career, Jennifer Alfano has been instrumental in rebranding, designing, creating and editing content for magazines, sites and luxury brands. She spent twenty years working as a senior fashion editor and writer for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Barneys New York. She has also written for publications including WSJ. Magazine, New York Magazine, Elle Décor and others. In 2013, she created her first eponymous fine jewelry line, which retailed at 4510, Fivestory, Moda Operandi, Shop Bazaar and more and was featured in Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, WSJ Off Duty, Town & Country and various publications. In 2016 she launched The Flair Index, a luxury lifestyle site for women, which she continues to produce.
